The 9th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors

 

 

Tunza Eco-generation would like to announce the call for application for the 9th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors.

 

 

 

E-gen Regional Ambassador is an elite position awarded to the kids and teens qualified to represent Tunza Eco-generation. E-gen Regional Ambassador program provides exceptional environmental activities with the opportunities to actively participate in the awareness activities in each region.

 

 

 

As representatives of Tunza Eco-generation, E-gen Regional Ambassadors must embody the spirit and values of Tunza Eco-generation. E-gen Regional Ambassadors must take on various roles to promote and raise positive awareness of the environment of each region they are representing.

 

 

Ambassadors would carry the voice of the universe at international level. Since your friends will gain their first impression of Tunza Eco-generation through our E-gen Ambassadors, E-gen Ambassadors are also expected to be knowledgeable on current environmental issues and any information required representing Tunza Eco-generation as well.

Application details

1. Eligibility
- All Tunza Eco-generation members aged between 14 and 24 who are enthusiastic about the local environmental issues.

 

2. Duties
- Ambassadors shall be in position for the next 6 months; From September 2012 to February 2013.
- Ambassadors shall post more than 2 written environmental articles on their region each month, totaled 12 articles for 6 months.
- Ambassadors shall try to leave a comment after reading other's article in Ambassador Report and World Report as often as possible so that they can motivate and exchange the ideas on regional environmental issues and campaigns.
- Ambassadors shall check their emails as often as possible for responding Tunza Eco-generation's communication.

 

3. Benefits
- Improvement of environmental leadership
- Business cards and Tunza Eco-generation Souvenirs including Eco-tumbler, Eco-bag and others
- Non-financial support for one's environmental activities such as Tunza Eco-generation banner(fla card) upon Ambassador's request based on the request letter including the details of the awareness campaigns.
- Given priority of the chances to be involved with the offline events of Tunza Eco-generation
- Certificate of the Ambassador (to be awarded after successfully finishing one's term)
- Reference letters available based on the successful completion of the first 3 months except for the college/university admissions
- Ambassadors¿ article which earned the most comments, facebook likes and tweets will be published on Tunza Eco-generation Monthly Newsletter.

 

4. How to apply
- Please use application page at : https://tunza.eco-generation.org/ambassadorApplicationForm.jsp 
- Please submit the application form including your profile picture.
- If you have reference files (pdf and MS office format preferred), please attach them using reference button on the bottom of the application form.
- Ambassador's term in office can be extended upon Ambassador's request.
- 1(one) Ambassador per each region (or country) will be selected by the Tunza Eco-generation.

 

5. Extension of Ambassador's term
- Current Ambassadors who met the mandatory duties can extend their term by submitting new application with 6 months coverage plan during the same period without age limit.

  - Current Ambassadors who have failed to post their mandatory 12 articles during the previous term shall be on the new applicants list to be the Ambassador for the upcoming term.
- Former Ambassadors should apply the same by submitting the coverage plan and reference materials.

 

6. Deadline
- Deadline for submission is August 19 in 2012.

 

7. Result Announcement
- Announcement will be made on Aug 24th via Tunza Eco-generation website.
