Call for Application The 8th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors
Tunza Eco-generation would like to announce the call for application for the 8th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors.
E-gen Regional Ambassador is an elite position awarded to the kids and teens qualified to represent Tunza Eco-generation. E-gen Regional Ambassador program provides exceptional environmental activities with the opportunities to actively participate in the awareness activities in each region.
As representatives of Tunza Eco-generation, E-gen Regional Ambassadors must embody the spirit and values of Tunza Eco-generation. E-gen Regional Ambassadors must take on various roles to promote and raise positive awareness of the environment of each region they are representing.
Ambassadors would carry the voice of the universe at international level. Since your friends will gain their first impression of Tunza Eco-generation through our E-gen Ambassadors, E-gen Ambassadors are also expected to be knowledgeable on current environmental issues and any information required representing Tunza Eco-generation as well.

Application details
1. Eligibility
- All Tunza Eco-generation members who are enthusiastic about the local environmental issues.
2. Duties
- Ambassadors will be in position for the next 6 months; March 2012 to August 2012.
- Ambassadors should post more than 2 written environmental articles on their region each month, totaled 12 articles for the 6 months.
- Ambassadors should check their emails as often as possible for responding Tunza Eco-generation's communication.
3. Benefits
- Improvement of environmental leadership
- Business cards and Tunza Eco-generation Souvenirs including Eco-tumbler, Eco-bag and others
- Non-financial support for one's environmental activities
- Given priority of the chances to be involved with the offline events of Tunza Eco-generation
- Certificate of the Ambassador (to be awarded after successfully finishing one's term)
- Reference letters available based on the successful completion of the first 3 months
(except for the college/university admissions)
4. How to apply
- Please use application page at : https://tunza.eco-generation.org/ambassadorApplicationForm.jsp
- Please submit the application form including your profile picture.
- If you have reference files(MS office format preferred), please attach them using reference button on the bottom of the application form.
- Ambassador's term in office can be extended upon Ambassador's request.
- 1(one) Ambassador per each region(or country) will be selected by the Tunza Eco-generation.
5. Date
- Please submit the application from Feb 1st to Feb 26th (Sun), 2012.
6. Result Announcement
- Announcement will be made on Feb 29th via Tunza Eco-generation website.

1. Tunza Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors are responsible for:
- Raising awareness of the environment and Tunza Eco-generation
- Posting environmental articles of your country on Ambassador Report Menu
- Providing assistance during international events
- Posting more than 2 articles each month, totaled 12 articles for the 6 months.
2. Other qualifications for Tunza Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors:
- A member of Tunza Eco-generation(http://tunza.eco-generation.org)
- Environmentally friendly mind
- Internet-friendly environment
3. How does Tunza Eco-generation select the Regional Ambassadors?
- Once applicants submit the application form on Our Action>Ambassador program menu, Tunza Eco-generation Team will select qualified one from each region.
- Additional references will be acceptable (can be .submitted as attached file)
4. What else would be expected of me once I become an Tunza Eco-generation Regional Ambassador?
- Participating in the online orientation and attending regular meetings on the web
- Attending irregular offline meetings are optional. (to be held in Seoul, Korea)

Hello Neha~~ I'm Christy of Tunza Eco-generation Team.
You can pick a region you want to report about(Your country or city is usually recommended). And You need to report at least twice a month on the environmental issue in the region.
There is no specific restriction in form or topic. Every environmental information is welcomed. :-)

Also sharing environmental news is okay. But it must include your own opinion too.
And you can report your environmental activities via Ambassador report.
There're various ways to use the Ambassador report menu.
There is no maximum size.

Please clarify what is to be mentioned in the items to be covered in the 6 months. Do you mean the subject or topic of environmental issue? Or is it to be about some event happened in the local region?
Also are the reports to be originally written or are they to be communicating about the local happenings with copy of newspaper articles etc? What is the maximum size of such reports?
