by Asmita Gaire | 01-09-2019 04:21 recommendations 4

IAASNepalLCPaklihawa organized Junk Art Competition on 29 August 2019 on the theme "Best out of waste". There were 8 teams in total with 2 members in each. Despite the tight schedule, students arranged to make different kinds of art. The programme included both formal and informal session.

The arts were evaluated by the judges.
Those two teams were regarded as the winner one, all the teams creativity couldn't be ranked. There were lots of arts out of junk, some of were for decorations while some for day to day use, while some accompanied eco friendly acts.

Piggy bank, newspaper bags, farms, decorative items, tray, basket, and many more items were presented with explanation to all the visitors and judges. We demonstrated eco friendly goods from Tunza as well like pencil, ruler, sticky pad, ruler, leaflets, etc. They loved it greatly. Thank you Runs a eco generation for this.
The arts were out of junk accompanied by eco friendly arts. All the arts were praising but the judge has to declare the two topmost among all the top arts.

And one of the team with Shreya Aryal and Prashamsa Bhusal were declared first for their exceptional piece of art and next team was declared second with Binita Suwal and Gresha Suwal as the participants. They will be rewarded in award ceremony and all the participants would be provided with certificates.

The junk art competition was based on 4Rs rule- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose. It is our need to fulfilled all these rules in today scenario.

    Hello Asmita!

As the waste management becomes a huge problem, the number of campaigns to pursue 3R(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) is increasing. This competition seems to be one of them.
All the items in the pictures look very creative. Let's reuse the waste before we throw it away. : )

    Hey there Asmita!

I hope you're well. I am pleased that this competition within the youth went well and was completed successfully. I like the fact that you chose using waste as a theme for the competition and that a lot of youth came through to partake in this. The pictures look beautiful and amazing and it also shows just how creative our youth can be.

Thank you for sharing this amazing story with us I hope to see more of your work soon.
    Stay blessed Asmita!
