First of all I would like to thank Tunza Eco Generation for giving us opportunity to write a review of our favorite environmental book and I would like to take this opportunity to share a wonderful and very inspiring environmental movement started by a 9 year old boy through the review of my favorite environmental book ¡°Tree by Tree¡± written by children and youth of our Plant-for-the-Planet foundation. We all know that climate crisis is threatening our Earth and we humans are responsible. If we continue to act as we have up to this point, it will result in catastrophic consequences. Yet, there is far too little being done to stop this. We the children and members of Plant-for-the-Planet want to change that- especially with this book. Children of Plant-for-the-Planet have written ¡°Tree by Tree¡± primarily for the people like us, Kids and teenagers because we are the ones who will pay for it if adults cannot fully solve these global problems. However, this book is also consciously directed to adults, parents, teachers, politicians, entrepreneurs and other ¡®decision-makers¡¯ in our society, because we want them to help us in what we are doing. Children of Plant-for-the-Planet has many plans: we want to save the climate and thus our future, tree by tree! If anybody think it¡¯s not possible for children, then they¡¯re mistaken! Our Plant-for-the-Planet children¡¯s initiative was very small when it has begun in 2007, but since then it has become a global movement. Compared to most of adults, who are willing only to talk about climate change, children of Plant-for-the-planet are actually doing something about it. In this book, you¡¯ll get to know how Plant-for-the-Planet began with a classroom presentation and how it developed into a really big (and exciting) movement within a short time. You¡¯ll learn what ¡°Climate Change¡± means, how much we humans contribute to it and what we can do in order to protect our environment. You¡¯ll see why it is so important that we children commit ourselves to more climate protection and climate justice in this world and by reading this book you will know the reason why we are planting trees to achieve these goals. You can also learn a lot of exciting things. For example: do you know how much air a single tree can clean and why? Do you know the difference between weather and climate? Do you know why how coal and petroleum (oil) form? Do you know what CO2 is and the impact in has on our atmosphere? And Do you know why it is so bad if the ice melts in Greenland and the Antarctic, or that there is a so-called ¡°World Climate Summit¡± every year? Etc.. Most importantly by reading ¡°Tree by Tree¡± you¡¯ll see how easily you can take part in what children of Plant-for-the-Planet are trying to achieve, and how much fun you can have doing it! Hello Dharmendra
Thank you for sharing your favorite environmental book with us! I didn't realize that 'Plant-for-planet' began with a classroom presentation. This book truly gives us a lesson that we all can fight against climate change with small initiatives.

The book is an eye-opener to what the future may look like. It clearly shows us that now more than ever children should be encouraged to walk forward in taking the torch and to stand against the degradation of land, water and air.
