World Veterinary Day-2019 is one of the most important day of all the veterinarians and all the people who are either directly or indirectly associated with animals.
World veterinary day-2019 is the 20th veterinary day celebrated with various theme every year. This year theme is “Value Of Vaccination”. It reflects concern of all the people towards prevention of zoonotic and other several diseases. On this day, we started with one health approach of taking plants, animals and environment together. We cleaned the area and planted several plants. Highly pleased with the activities, university chief vowed to provide net for the protection of plants. Similarly, we had a rally to aware people about it. Moreover there was high panel discussion with ministers, students and teachers on this matter. Finally, with the hope of sparkling brighter on the upcoming days; candle light night ended up the veterinary day 2019.

Thank you for introducing world veterinary day which is very meaningful to not only veterinarians but also all the people with concerns of animal welfare. As I strongly feel the need of vaccination and prevention of zoonotic diseases, this year??s theme is a very touching topic.
