[Air Pollution] Uzbekistan

by Vazira Ikhtiyorova | 14-04-2019 02:52 recommendations 0

Green cheers from Tashkent!
Today, I woud like to write about the level of air pollution in my country and the possible solutions that are being taken.
Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, where the air pollution is developed quite well because of its wide range of population and usage of the private transporation. Air pollution in Tashkent exceeds sanitary standards, yet the govenment has majors to make the degree of pollution decrease. on February 2 under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, instruction was given on introducing clusters for collection and processing of waste in 9 cities of the country this year. Activity of a cluster organized in Surkhandarya region was given as an example.  The air pollution level exceeds the sanitary standards by an average of 2,7 times in such industrial cities as Andijan, Angren, Bukhara, Navoi, Fergana, Almalyk, Bekabad, Chirchik, Tashkent and Nukus.

In this connection, responsible people of the State Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Enironment have been entrusted with the task to develop  a National Concept on Protection of the Environment, on the basis of international experience. Moreover, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the govermantal organizations have announced that the first Friday of a new month is considered as a day of the public transportation usage.

Hope I could give a little information about our way to fight against the air pollution.
Thank you all!

Hi, Vazira. I'm so delighted about your second president's intentions and reforms. It's better to organize fonts of reports because it's kinda hard to read the text in different formats.
