Congratulations to all the selected new ambassadors and the ambassadors who have extended their term as the 22^nd Regional Ambassador of their Region. In this report, I will be sharing my experience as 21^st Regional Ambassador to Nepal. I would like to congratulate all the ambassadors who have successfully completed their 21^st term, it was great working with you together. I would like to thank our mentors, fellow ambassadors, EcoGeneration Team and Members who have always shown me love and support because of which I have able to complete my ambassador term with many successful campaigns which we can be proud of. It was great to help fellow ambassador to conduct their campaigns, inspire them to start their campaigns, answer the quires of ecogeneration member, leaving heartwarming comments on the ambassadors and members reports and be a changemaker in my community.

 

The programs I have conducted during my term as 21^st Regional Ambassador to Nepal are:

Sustainable Environment Campaign

This is a school awareness campaign conducted in Barahi Awasiya Secondary School with the participants over 100 students where students were awared about the global issue of environmental concern, their role in preserving the planet conducting various programs as

Eco Quiz: This was conducted to increase the knowledge of the student on the environmental issue.

Eco Voice: This was a platform created where the school children shared their views on environment and what they can do for the preservation of the environment.

Eco Motivation: I conducted the motivation session where I presented student about the stories related to environment and motivational speech to increase their enthusiasm level towards environment.

Awareness Presentation: Students were presented on various environmental issues, their role in creating a sustainable environment related to climate change, pollution and various topics.

 

Formation of Barahi Eco Club

As a regional ambassador to Nepal I formed Barahi Eco Club with myself being the mentor of the club along with teachers and environmental activist led by Miss Deepika Khadka which was a platform created to all the enthusiastic minds to work together to bring change in the society. This club conducted cleaniness campaign, recycle and reuse demonstration to beat plastic pollution and publishes environment related article or creativity every week on the school notice board.

 

Environmental Awareness Through Blog

In this ambassador term, I created the blog and added environment section on the blog so that I can aware people about the environmental issue. There are more than 12 environment related articles being published on the blog. The link to the blog is: https://kushalnaharki.wordpress.com/

I too wrote an article on Elite Platform of Tunza EcoGeneration to aware the people about amazing environmental platform.

 

Awareness through Online Videos on Youtube

With the aim to aware people as Regional Ambassador of Tunza Ecogeneration about food wastage being made during festivals, I made the awareness video and uploaded to youtube and shared them via social media accounts which was great success in awaring people with over 2.5 k views. I have also uploaded the video of my sustainable environment campaign which inspired many of the fellow ambassadors to start their own campaigns. Research on Priming Effect of seed on the germination parameters of maize in drought condition

With the climate change creating various change in the weather and impacting the crop germination with drought and over rain, I conducted the research on priming effects of seed on germination parameter of maize in drought condition along with the promotion of Tunza EcoGeneration with the participants of my project group members.

 

Online Environment Awareness Campaign “Small Act Great Impact”

As EcoGeneration Regional Ambassador to Nepal, I conducted an online environment awareness campaign where participants sent their various creativity from photos, articles, stories, poem and many more about how our small acts can have huge impacts on environment and the best were awarded with Tunza Sovunier.

 

School Campaign

I conducted school campaign in various schools of Lamjung. This campaign was successfully conducted in Baljyoti School, Earthly Paradise School, Jana Bikash Secondary School and Universal Academy with impacts over 500 students of the school. This campaign was focused on environmentally awaring students with the knowledge of model united nation. The discussion was made on various environmental topics of global warming, climate change, plastic pollution and students role in environment in different schools followed by awareness presentation by me.

Visit To International Mountain Museum where the issues of climate change has been highlighted.

Cleanliness campaign in various places of lamjung and Tanahun.

I also supported the fellow ambassadors during their campaigns.

I also designed all the photos of my campaign myself along with online certificate for the small act great impact campaign. I also designed the photo for Tunza Eco Network Nepal and Whats App Group of EcoGeneration Regional Ambassador. I also supported fellow ambassadors from Zambia to create Tunza EcoNetwork Zamia and designed the photo for Tunza Eco Network Zambia.

 

I feel glad and proud to have such an amazing term and would like to thank everyone for your love and support.
