As Nepal is an developing nation, all the people don't have the access to Internet. So, Offline Campaigns are equally important as online campaign. As we are sharing the reports about our Eco activities and plans in this monthly event theme, I am sharing one more report about my activities as Regional Ambassador of Nepal as few ambassador s requested me to write about my offline campaigns too so that I can encourage and Inspire fellow ambassador to conduct more programs as I had written an report on my online activities previously. In this report I'm focusing on my offline campaign as Regional Ambassador of Nepal. I had recently conducted an School Campaign "Sustainable Environment Campaign" few months before which has impacted more than 100 school children. This campaign consisted of many activities and I had written an detailed report on it. It consisted of Eco Quiz Eco Motivation Eco Voice of Children Awareness Campaign I had also formed Barahi Eco Club. I will soon write a detail report on the current activities of Eco Club. This Eco Club is working on the presidency of Deepika Khadka and there are mentor mentoring them one of them being me myself. I am also conducting an Research on the "Effect of seed priming on the Germination Parameters of Mays (Zea Mays) I have also conducted Afforestation Campaign at Lamjung Campus in which more than 30 plants were planted around the campus region. I have also focused on my campaign "Gift a Tree This Birthday" which focuses on Gifting People Trees on their birthday rather than Fancy gifts and celebrating Eco Birthday. I have also conducted Model United Nation Workshop at various schools of Sundarbazar and now I will be carrying it to Besisahar. MUN workshop also helps to enhance the Eco knowledge of the students as they deal with the environment policies of the countries. I have also launched a campaign called "The Waste Pocket: Keep It In Until You Find A Bin". I had written an detailed report on this campaign previously on World Clean Up Day Wich focuses on clean environment by proper disposal of the wastes that we create. I have also shared about it in "Small Act Great Impact Campaign". I have recently conducted an survey promoting Tunza Eco Generation among the farmers about the effect due to environment degradation. I will be writing a detailed report on it soon too. Now, I am gearing for the National Level Model United Nation 2019 which will unite around 100 youths from Nepal to discuss on the solution to global issues. I am also taking forward my school Camapigns to many school of Lamjung along with the continuation of afforestion and cleanliness campaign. Together we can bring a change and move towards sustainable future. So, we must act our level best to bring change. we must "Act Now" "Act Locally" and "Act Together". I would also like to request fellow Eco generation members to contribute to create the theme of this year for our Tunza EcoGeneration Platform sharing my ideas, knowledge and thoughts. Green Cheers to all 🙂 🙂 🙂 |

Hello Kushal
Online campaigns are effective in spreading awareness and to motivate more people to participate in these actions but as you've said, offline is as much important as online actions since online might not always be approachable. Also as it is the offline space, where our effort should make positive differences.
It is most incredible that you've been doing so many activities concerning various sectors of our society.
Thanks for the report and will be waiting for the further updates too :)

Hello Kushal, doing really well with your action plans :)
As you said, not all the people do have accessibility to the Internet. To raise awareness about climate change and other relative environmental problems, it is important to provide offline campaigns and keep up with participants in touch for a long term. Long-term and systematically well-made education curriculum will definitely lead the ones to take better participation into their manners and minds at last :)
Thanks for your work and report!
