Barahi Eco Club Activities

by Kushal Naharki | 16-01-2019 17:32 recommendations 0

I had previously posted about Barahi Eco Club which I had formed uniting the enthusiastic students. I am also the mentor of this club along with teacher of the school and social activist. Tunza ecogeneration had sent the Tunza Gift to the mentors. I provided the Tunza EcoGift to the mentor. AS I will also be providing the Tunza Sovinuer (Pen Drive) to the winner of "Small Act Great Impact. Campaign, I will provide the Sovunier to other mentors when I receive it next time.
I visited the members of the Eco Club and mentors and discussed about the current plans and future works of the Eco Club. I also gave short Eco motivation session to them and provided the members with the Eco Sovunier ( Pencil and Sticky NotePad) for the great work they have been doing. Eco clubs in schools will empower students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents and neighborhood communities to promote sound environmental behavior.
Eco Club has planted the trees around the school and maintain the green environment. They also fine the people who throw wastes other than dustbin. They also post Eco news and articles every Friday on the notice but board on of the school. They also run the weekly cleanliness Campaign around school. I also encouraged them to act at the community level and not being limited to the school region. They had also conducted Waste recycling and demonstration at the school.
I felt delighted to form a Eco Club of such motivated and enthusiastic student. When I asked to share there personal experience of working as the member of the Eco Club President Deepika Khadka said that she was happy to lead environment initiatives with her committee members. The Vice President Bishap Thapa was thankful was thankful towards me for creating a platform forming an ecoclub. Other members were glad to be a part of such ecoclub and work for the protection of the environment.

Hello Kushal, congratulations to provide another offline campaign under 'Small Act Great Impact' slogan. Promoting green activities with souvenirs are just one, single shots but as you try to advertise and give comments to tell them what E-gen and TUNZA are, they will keep trying to remember it, getting adopted to the platform :)
    Thanks for sharing your activity!
