After great success in conducting awareness program in 3 schools, I decided to conduct a similar type of awareness program in my childhood school i.e. Amber Everest English Boarding School which lies in Bharatpur 10 Chitwan, Nepal On the occasion of International Mountain Day I conducted Program on December 11, One day before the program I gave notice to students of class 8,9 and 10 that I will be conducting plastic pollution awareness and drawing competition. I said that drawing must contain about Mountain and environment pollution. 11/12/2018 School gave me 2 hours of time to conduct my program, in 1st hour I gave lecture about pollution, plastic pollution and environment conservation. I also introduce them about Tunza Eco Generation and its activities. Around 60 students were there and everyone was curious about new thing that they were learning. I asked question related to environment conservation in the mid session. At last I asked few students to deliver what they learn during the lecture. After the lecture, time was for Drawing competition, I gave 45 min to draw as per notice, I provided them A4 size Paper and rest materials they needed were brought by themselves. During 45 min all of the students were trying their best to make beautiful picture with a beautiful message. Following students were selected as winners and given certificate and materials from Tunza Eco Generation. Niharika Neupane-1st Bipika Thapa Chhetri-2nd Aakriti Shrestha-3rd Shiva Adhikari and Conscience Kadangwa- 4th I want to thank Leo Club of Bharatpur Chautari which supported my program and all teachers of school who were positive and helpful regarding my program. Hello Deepak, thanks for your report, and sorry for the late feedback :(
I never thought about providing such offline class and education to boarding school students, and I think it must be more efficient in expecting positive effect from students in implementing the message of lecture since they live in a same place (school and dormitory) and get easy to proceed onto their own projects!
Conceiving of messages you sent to them, they might be able to provide inner-school projects :)
