ECPAC- Greenland Public School After a successful campaign in Valmiki Shiksha Sadan and Hillbird boarding school, I decided to conduct similar type of program in Greenland Public School. With the aim of ¡°Plastic Pollution¡± and ¡°Food Waste¡± awareness I conducted programs; most of the time students feel quiet boring while listening to lecture, so I planned to conduct a competition after awareness. Junk art competition and Drawing competition with same theme was very successful. I awarded with a beautiful certificate designed by myself and Promotional goods from Eco generation 5/11/2018 In Greenland public school I have to conduct both programs in a similar day due to lack of time. In this school there was well managed hall with own laptop and projector. We setup all the things and called students. Students from class 9, 8 and 7 participated and they were about 200 in number I gave them a notice that they can participate in the speech competition, after the presentation. As usual I presented about plastic pollution and its overall related aspects. I was amazed by the discipline of the students. After my presentation, my friend Er Sunil Subedi presented about Food waste. Finally we completed our presentation. In the speech competition they had to deliver speech on the basis what they learn during presentation in span of 2-3 minutes. Now time was for competition, there were only 2-3 students who want to participate; I call 1st participant Sneha Pandey in the stage, she was nervous but she delivered her speech in a good manner, and then next participant was a boy named Rajib Sedai, he was very confident in his speech. He also was very much curious about the program. During presentation we awarded few students by asking question, he was one of student who got pencil and sticky notes. Slowly more hands were rising, but due to time bound we only could give chance to 15 students and decided to announce the result. 1st- Stuti Chaaign (Certificate+ Pencils+ Sticky notes) 2nd- Aryan Magar (Certificate+ Pencils+ Sticky notes) 3rd- Rajib Sedai (Certificate+ Pencils+ Sticky notes) Eco Bag winner- Sabina Shrestha I awarded Sneha Pandey because she was the first who raised hand to participate in the competition. Finally program was completed and we took group photos which look very beautiful. I want to thanks Sunil Subedi and Manish Kattel who support me during all there program in 3 different schools. This time my program was supported by Leo Club of Bharatpur Chautari, I want to thank Dr Milan Kandel, president of club who always encourage and support me. Special thanks go to Greenland Public School and Principal Indira Karki Madam who easily accepted our request to conduct the program...... Huge thanks goes to Tunza Eco Generation, Gyeongrin mentor, Joon Ho Mentor, ambassadors (Rosa, Bonface, Israel, Dibya, Bharat, Kushal, Nikoley etc) other members who always go through my report and provide feedback and suggestions. Thank You ¡°Together we can¡± |
