Three Rs are very important in our life. As youth are responsible and aware of their environmental responsibilities it is very important to keep these 3Rs into their life on a continuous basis. Reduce, Reuse & recycle must be on top of our mind and actions at all times.
Keeping this in mind, I always without fail, remember to recycle all the paper, plastic etc. regularly. From time-to-time, the usable, good condition clothes are also recycled by way of putting them into donation boxes. These donation boxes are placed all over UAE & they gladly accept Clothes, Textiles, Shoes & Bags. All this material is collected, sorted and subsequently dispatched to the poor and needy all over the world. Many organisations handle these donation boxes and the ones near to my house are managed by ?Sharjah Charity International?
All the charity organisations are properly regulated by the UAE authorities. They ensure that the stuff goes to the right person who is really needy. This kind of confidence ensures the maximum public participation as many time I find the boxes full by the donated items.
There are many such items are in our house which is in good condition but is not usable. They take the space & deteriorate over time. Ultimately they are thrown in the garbage which adds to the landfills. It is a humble service to The Mother Earth to save the landfills by taking all such green actions.
Therefore, taking the above in mind I donated 1 Bag & Three packets containing the good condition, but sparingly used clothes in these bins beside handing over the usual paper, Plastic etc. for recycling to the local recycling agencies.
Dear Fellow ambassadors please do take similar actions in your regions and please do report at this amazing forum so that others are motivated to undertake similar actions and make our surroundings greener.

It is really nice to read reports about daily effort of yours!
The role of the UAE authority as a monitoring force for the right management of these charity organization is quite admirable. If resources could be reallocated in such ways, wastes and deficiency problem could be meddled together at the same time.
3R is truly a simple but strong force that can make the difference in our society

Wow, another series of great experience and duty in living!
I heard about Sharjah Charity International, but I was not a bit certain about how this system does work.
Turkey also does have a system like this but classification of specific items and types into new goods was not visible. (I have to take a look at it again, but I think it was not definite like this)
Many regional ambassadors do seem to pay attention a lot, too! And pics you chose for explaining the system of charity and 3Rs in UAE society might have caught their attention :)
Keep up with your work and please share more stories or regional systems like this!

It's so good to know that UAE is having such agood system. I hope indian government also take similar initiatives. Coming to my own, my family is always active in donating old clothes and other usable things which are old but still can be useful personally to the poor. Thanks for sharing!

It is very inspiring to have liberally donated to cover the naked and help the needy. indeed, this is another big step to making the world a better place for all.
Big thanks to the UAE government for such innovative.
The 3 Rs cited in your report will not only make our environment clean, but also ease us as individual, of unnecessary loads and free up spaces for better use.
As you have charged us, I hope we all keen in to this commendable attitude of yours.

Hi Rohan!
I comend you for being sobhimble as to give what you know will be of need to others. The donations boxes are such an ingenious idea and I hope that it caries on for as long as it possibly can.
There are times where I have give and I do also have items I know will be of great need to others and I will definitely follow in your suit .
