Kigali introduced free cars days whereby roads are closed to allow people to walk to work.
This will help reduce the carbon footprints in the city. Kigali is one of the cleanest cities.

It's great to see people walking on the road! :) We here in Korea also have car-free days from time to time which happens to be a walking festival in the city!

It's nice to see no cars /minimum cars on the road and many people walking. We too have here in UAE 'Car Free Day' when many people leave behind their cars at home and use public transport or walk(if shorter distances). Days like these, for sure, contribute to reducing carbon emission. Thanks for sharing.
