The change of weather |

Hello guys, This is may , and it's supposed to be rainy season this month, but it's not. In contrast, it's became hotter and hotter without any rain, even once. In here, Cambodia, the country which is known as the land of natural resources has became lacked of trees and filled with the hot sunshine. A year ago, in may, the temperature was acceptable to live, but today the weather is causing a very serious issue, people cannot breath, they drive in the a long road with a very hot air blowing around them, in some province are lacked of water, and it has caused the death of many people already, especially the poor people at rural area. I'm sure that's the result from human activities, but I just don't want to here the next generation say, ohh! the previous generation is a tree hunter, so i just want some solution for it! Oneg, I guess there isn't clear and definite solutions for targeting weather changes, at least for now. If there were, the Earth would have changed a decades ago. However, I strongly agree with you that the Earth is getting hotter and hotter, and in some regions the rainfall is being scarce as well. Hope Cambodia come up with wise solutions for climate changes, and hope you have a great day as well!

The solution to global warming lies in amending our actions. Use less fossil fuels, recycle to the core. Reduce the landfills. You may initiate your small drives. This will motivate & encourage others to join & expand the horizon. Make a start. It does not matter how small it is. Every step matters & contributes to sustainability.

Oeng-I also read somewhere that Cambodia is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change. This abnormal hot weather is an impact of climate change. I read that Cambodian govt has devised some Cambodia Climate Change Strategic Plan 2014 – 2023. Hope govt seriously works on that and citizens too co-operate by preserving forests, saving energy and adopting eco-friendly lifestyle to reduce carbon footprint which will ultimately reduce global warming and hence climate change.
