A part of clean India movement

by | 21-02-2015 01:13 recommendations 0

On 19th Feb, me and my friends went to clean a nearby street in our neighbour. We did this as part of our Clean India Movement.
The cleaning took place for 2 hours where at first, we broomed the street, put the waste in dustbins and dumped it at proper place. We were also accompanied by local peoples.
The best thing was the support of local people. When we started we were by ourself. But as the time passes and we filled the air with a bit dust, the local people also came to join us. Some bring their vacuum cleaner to collect the dust while some helped us with water supply.
Then we head toward the degraded land beside my home and planted bees of different trees. Again we were accompanied by the locals. It was extremely great to see their enthusiasm.
Then we head to our common place where we invited our guest who conducted an quiz competition asking questions about United Nation and Tunza. As they have already started to show interest in these ever since I became the Regional Ambassador. The 1st price was given to Mr. Saurav. He was awarded a memento by our chief guest. And for the rest we had the Awesome Tunza Merchandise.
