Kids learn how they can help protect the environment

It's really needed that toddlers , kids , children , youth and adult -all understand the values of environment protection. But it can be hard enough to get children/kids to take responsibility for their own toys at times. Making them understand the importance of keeping their room clean can be equally as tough. So how does one get them to accept their role in caring for the whole planet? And how to educate a three-year-old about sustainability and the effects of climate change? Pupils at the Willow Children?s Nursery in Dubai enjoyed some lessons of a different kind this week when they welcomed environmental education consultant Peter Milne from Target Green for a chat. How to teach the kids about the environment? Just think like a child and remember what is important to us at that age and what we could understand. Like I was in preschool when my mom said put your candy wrappers and cookie wrappers in your pocket and throw it in the garbage when you get home. I still do that until now. So when it's time to do the laundry my pockets always have to be emptied of the junk in my pockets. Haha
