Clean - Up Drive and Tree planting: EEG |

On the occasion of 11/12/13, I participated in the (EEG) Emirates Environment Group's Beach Clean Up Drive and Tree Planting. The Emirates Environmental Group is a group devoted to protecting the environment through various program and community lectures. They also collect newspapers, plastic, cans, cardboard, etc. to recycle and they provide us with a certificate and a tree for a particular amount of the respective item collected. This year I was eligible To plant two trees The event was held in a desert in the Emirate of Ras Al – Khaimah and began with the Clean-up. Various other corporate also participated in this event. Many student and parents enthusiastically cleaned up the place. It was a school day and I had to take a holiday obstructing me from getting an 100% attendance, but protecting the environment was a first priority. Such Clean – UP?s encourage more community involvement and create awareness in the need of keeping the environment and surroundings clean. I encourage all Tunza members to also participate or organize such Clean – UP?s and be sustainable environmentalists. |

I also earned the distinction of planting tree in my name. It is so proud feeling. Your contribution is rewarded in eco-friendly manner.

We all planted trees in this event. This give a sense of satisfaction & motivation for others. WOW! me & Arushi are also in picture!

Humaid , I was glad to see u there and I am sure it was worth missing school one day . Agree with you that we all should participate in such events/campaigns to bring a positive change and spread positive message. Thanks for sharing your experience.
