The Central Ground Water Authority  under Ministry of Water Resources in India, organizing such campaigns to involve children from school level to make habit  from childhood for saving water. Availability of   Water is the biggest  issue world wide and  our Indian government is also taking necessary steps to ensure availability of water for future generation.

Currently I am studying in Christ Church Girls¡¯ school, Jabalpur, MP, India  and in my school the contest was organized with full spirit. Our drawing teacher  Dr. (Mrs.) Chatterjee had initiated for organized such contest  in school. We are lucky get such qualified and supportive teacher like Dr. Chatterjee. Under her guidance every year a large number of students are  bringing prizes from various contest  local / state / national level.

From our school top 3 drawings were sent to state level competition at Bhopal . On 30th. Oct¡¯13 from around 1500 nos. paintings, only 50 nos. students were called at Bhopal and I was one of them. More than  68,000 students had participated in school level in more 800 nos. school.

On 18th. Nov¡¯13 , we, 50 students from diff. school of our  state Madhay Pradesh, India had participated  in State level contest . The photographs related to My painting and other few painting have been posted here. From their , best 3 students have been selected for national level contest at New Delhi on 27th. Dec¡¯13.

My attached drawing was not selected under top three .  However 3 student from diff. school were selected and they were awarded by  Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8000/- and Rs. 5000/- respectively. The arrangement was nice and enjoyable to all of us.

This national   drive is helping to involve students and their parents to work for save water.

Hope you will agree that, the green arts can help to spread awareness in our society. What shiba is telling that is not fully true. Is not it?

What is the use of making such art?
We can prove that, we are smart.
No art can help us to save water,
Let us do some thing practical and better.
