My Earth Matters

by | 07-02-2013 06:31 recommendations 0

Another article from our tunza visit to sathya sai school...

My mother earth matters in many ways. I mean whenever I think of whatever little thing that contributes negatively or destroys  the earth, it makes me very concerned and worried.  This is because the earth is my only home, giving life to all the living things, and for that matter it has to be protected.

I am going to talk about our land and to invite all of us to do whatever we can to avoid polluting it.  Pollution of the earth can be done in both sides – that is on the land and the air.  We know that it is always very easy to pollute the earth and everybody is bound to that if we live carelessly.  But then it becomes a big task and very difficult to make it clean again.                                                                                                           So we have to ask ourselves, what can we do to avoid hurting the earth?  We have many times polluted our land by throwing papers and other waste anyhow – especially the plastics papers, bottles and the un-recycled glass and rubber products.

These are the questions you are going to be asking yourself while the world is being destroyed:

Why did we do this, or why are we doing this?

When will this stop and who will make that happen?

Who will  save us?

What will happen to us when the earth stops giving life? Where are we going to live?

I think by educating people about the dangers of spoiling the earth, then we will all succeed to make the life of earth longer – and this also means our lives being longer as well.   Every family should have time in their homes where they talk and teach the children about better ways of disposing the waste and even recycling it.

Instead of living in dirt we can live in a rhododendron.  Every body should think about it - about a better tomorrow. There is no island and safety for one person alone. When mother earth gets sick, we are all affected. My environment is yours too.  My earth matters to me very much, and I want it to keep me living longer and enjoying. What about you?

    Right said Unmesh

We humans think that we are the cleverest and most intelligent creatures on earth but who are stranger than the ones who are digging their own graves, even after knowing that it will threaten their existence!
