As most of the people are shifted from rural areas to urban areas for better facilities and education cities are facing many challenges. The pressure that urbanization places on the current infrastructure—which includes public transportation, housing, and services—is one of its main effects. The demand for these resources expands as more people move into cities, frequently exceeding the ability of the existing infrastructure. Natural ecosystems and greenery are being encroached upon by expanding cities to accommodate the growing population, which results in deforestation and biodiversity loss. The quality of life for those who live in cities is further diminished by the rise in automobiles and industrial activity, which pollutes the air and water. Due to the increase in population in city areas wildlife is facing many accidents and threats like habitat destruction, loss of food, and increase in pollution. To minimize the accident we need to focus on the construction of an underpass or overpass for easy movement of wildlife. We should increase the forest areas through plantation programs and community engagement. We should spread awareness about wildlife. We should use public vehicles or electric vehicles to reduce pollution. Besides that, we need to focus on sustainable development and the development and implementation of new ideas, technologies, and strategies to improve the overall livability and sustainability of cities. |
