The State of Qatar, an Islamic sovereign and independent state situated in the middle east, comprises a peninsula that project into Arabian Gulf bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south and a maritime border Bahrain, The UAE and Iran. The capital city is Doha.

The state of Qatar is one of the leading emerging country in the educational system which has initiated various reformative approach, National Vision 2030 emphasizing education as the basis for the development and progress of the society. The 2017-2018 Global competitiveness Report concludes that Qatar is 5th ranking country for its quality of higher education and trainings, adopted initiative like ¡°Her highness sheika Moza bint Nare¡¯¡¯, ¡°ROTO¡±, ¡°Silatech Initiative¡± for the affected one by conflict, insecurities and  crises.

Global pandemic is not a new topic for all, world has undergone through such a consequences since time immemorial out of which COVID-19 is one, in order to neutralize the gravity of viral infection Qatari officials have officially declared closure of school, universities on March 9. The educational system has been halt since then, more than 100 million students has been affected, scheduled exam postponed until the next notices. Found that 1700 compiled online lessons uploaded to the Youtube channel of the Ministry with the pertain for allowing student to have their classes at distance. The chance of learning digitally in disadvantaged community during this pandemic is difficult and uneven compared to the student at the most developed area of the country.

The global pandemic has not only bought a chaos in the world, but  has made the people realize the fact that today¡¯s education system are still facing challenge in behalf of equality, inclusiveness, access particularly from the developing area.  The pandemic has made obstacles for attaining global SDG number 4,as many virtual accessibility are only confined to the developed areas rural areas are in shortage of resources for virtual education, to make everyone accessible educational system should be reformed where nobody is left behind, with a consideration creating response plan that could serve as a base to remote learning processes, make the student of developing area available with free digital learning management system, strong offline functionality system, tools and resources for trainers and student supporting their overall development and challenges beside providing guidelines to enhance pshyco-social support.

Hi Sandhya Adhikari, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.

Since South Korea is famously know for its fastest internet speed, living in South Korea, I did not know that education in COVID-19 undergoes serious problems. Actually, not only because of digital problems, South Korean students are also facing the problem of unfairness of online exams. Directors are never able to control the situation outside the camera that is shooting us solving the problems. Outside the camera, I can attach cheating paper on the wall! I hope these kinds of problems are solved as you wish also.

    Thank you for your report!
