Firstly, I want to apologize for the mentor for not being able to timely submit my free report. There is some secret behind it and I want to disclose it. As and when , there started lockdown, I thought something to do in my kitchen garden but it was already full of vegetables there. So, I searched for something of plastic origin and found jar in store house with small hole at the base. Firstly, I planted cactus there but it couldnot established well. So, seeing my solicitous for new plantation, my siblings arranged small cuttings of the mint and I was successful after its well establishment. I had made resolutions to write about something new plant and it made me delay to write my report. Anyway, The human population grows continuously. Vegetables and fruits are the main foodstuffs that provide humans with lipids, carbohydrates, fiber, even proteins, as well as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, without neglecting the medicinal plants that provide remedies against various diseases. Mint is a popular ingredient in several foods and beverages. It is used from teas and alcoholic drinks. It has also wide use in sauces, salads and desserts. And as per read articles and journals, about 14grams of spearmint contains Calories: 6, Fiber: 1 gram,Vitamin A: 12% of the RDI,Iron: 9% of the RDI,Manganese: 8% of the RDI,Folate: 4% of the RDI. Also, mint is of great benefit o the eye as it is enriched with vitamin A and fat soluble vitamins. It is generally recommended for one who has poor eyesight. It is aslo the best remedy for Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS).Methanol present in the peppermint helps to alleviate IBS. Mint may also be effective at relieving other digestive problems such as upset stomach and indigestion. Indigestion may occur when food sits in the stomach for too long before passing into the rest of the digestive tract. Multiple studies have shown that food passes through the stomach quicker when people take peppermint oil with meals, which could relieve symptoms from this type of indigestion . ingesting mint, there are claims that inhaling the aroma of essential oils from the plant could provide health benefits, including improved brain function. Many over-the-counter cold and flu treatments contain menthol, a primary compound in peppermint oil. Many people believe menthol is an effective nasal decongestant that can get rid of congestion and improve airflow and breathing. When people have a bad breath odor, mint is usually recommended. Thus, the mint has a lot of health benefits References: a) ww.researchgate.net/publication/322861201_SOLAR_DRYER_OF_MEDICINAL_PLANTS_The_Mint b) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10997544 c) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16190627 d) https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/mint-benefits#section1 e) https://www.onu.edu/files/zoladz_raudenbush_2005.pdf f) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1981905
