In the western Indian region, there is a man who has three wives. His name is Sakharam Bhagat. How and why he has three wives? Is he kind or attractive? Or I don't want to think in this way but, is this because he is rich? No. It is because of the water. Bhagat said "I had to have someone to bring us water, and marrying again was the only option, My first wife was busy with the kids. As I told, the western Indian region, his family are living is where the water is very precious. More than 20,000 households there cannot get water abundantly. So every day, someone has to go far and carry water. Marriage was the way people chose to make ends meet. In India, polygamy is strictly illegal, but the place where he lives has become a custom to have several wives on the condition that they carry water. The water doomed four people's fate. Don't be upset about it. It's not the time yet. As things stand now, the day will surely come when "four people" become "all." Let's presume it's later than 20 years and set you have just got out from busy working. Then you turn on the TV news as if you've done so far. The first information that the news always reports at the opening is Water shortage grade. It is similar to a fine dust concentration forecast of the present in that it is divided into 5 grades according to today's water-stress, except that it has restraint in using water. Today's Water shortage grade was 'very bad' so that you learn to have to use two liters of water in a day. Next, as the breaking news, the announcer reports about the shower law, which urgently revised by summits of each country. They decided to take turns in implementing the shower law. For example, if today is when Korea gets limited, tomorrow will be Japan, and so on. We are going to be limited our right to shower regardless of whether you work out so hard that you get soaked in sweat, or you get wet to the skin with unexpected rain. Imagine well? The life with shower constraint from others. Some country people are liable to forget the value of water, like South Korea. This is because they haven't experience the discomfort of the lack of water. Although we sob watching sorry news from the dry area like a desert, it's nothing but that. But what if the whole world becomes "a desert?" If it comes true, they will not sit still. Effective policies and sometimes coercive enforcement are important to change the world. But no other power is stronger and more solid than people's environmental sensibility. Draw the future based on the current situation. And induce others to imagine. Thank you for the report about an interesting story. It is so amazing that there is a water deflecting rate which is broadcasted on the TV, and also an interesting culture because of the lack of water. While looking at your report, I reminded that water is limited and some places, lack of water make a serious problem.

This is very interesting, but sad. Interesting in the way that I've never heard of such story, and sad in the way that the reason of polygamy is to get water. People in the country with a lot of water waste water because they do not appreciate the value of water. However, without water, people would not be able to sustain their lives. Therefore, it is essential to save water.
