Have you ever woken up with an itchy toe or finger? Growing up in a village with plenty of dogs barking and 'meaow' of cats is just another thing. Most people in the village like keeping pets for one reason or another.
The question is, "how safe are our pets." How likely are they able to infest our homesteads with pests or infect us with parasites and other zoonotic diseases. The itchy finger of toe is likely to be as a result of flea infestation the so called Tunga penetrans which causes jiggers. How then do we handle our pets to avoid pests? Pests infestation damages our health and makes our environment inhabitable, therefore, we must put all necessary measures to minimise pests infestation to our households which reduces gross domestic happiness, gross income and causes mental illness. We can handle our pets by washing them with pesticides/accaricides, minimizing contacts with pets, building them houses and giving pets proper training.

Hello Okoth, this is mentor Taehyun!
Thank you for a report about 'pets and pests' [Perfect title:)] It is really true! Unlike human(human also has hair, but not fur), pets like dogs have a very curly and long hair, and inside of that fur, there is a very humid and quite dirty. So, it can be a good place for bacteria. We have to make animal fur to be clean to prevent the virus.
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!

Hi Okoth! This is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
Pets with furs provide the perfect environment for fleas and other parasites to live. Those parasites might be dangerous for pets or humans who raise them. Thank you for introducing some ways to deal with this problem.
Cheers!
