Despite the fact that our college is agricultural college (Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science), it is merciful to see many number of trees being cut in the name of its old age. Last week when I was passing by my college premises, there were number of woodcutters to cut the trees in Mimura Park. Simply I put some questions to them regarding clearing of the land to them, they told the old age of the tree made the tree look unalluring. Besides, the weak college administration is also responsible for haphazard cutting of the trees.
There are countless number of importance of the forest to the human. Trees are the sources of water, sink of Co2.Thus, it plays the major role to control greenhouse gases. Similarly, it is shelter for human being, wildlife. Forest is the major source of food and wild fuel. Thus, there are number of benefits and advantages that we can take from the forest. Similarly, forest is the source of innovation for the one who gets lost in the beauty of nature. There are different trees like cotton tree which provides clothing to us. The area which has its major land of forest is relatively more cool than those who does not have forest in them. Different hotels and resorts earns money due to the beauty of the forest present in resorts and hotels. Forest has more to do with precipitation in the environment. Due to agroforestry, it has combined effect of farm productivity. Forest is the beautiful creation of nature which has caused diversion of floods and landslide along with other natural calamities in the environment. It is the suitable place for medication where people can feel tranquil and lost in the beauty of nature.
Although it possess such a tremendous advantages in it, there are a lot of the causes which led to the clearing of the trees. Rapid population growth along with unplanned migration of the people, the forest are cut down in the name of expanding agricultural land. Moreover, negligence of the people causes the forest fire. For an instance, when a person passes to the dry land and when the trees are in dormant state, if a people smokes cigarette, small fire can also bring whole destruction of the forest. The most vital cause can be the weak forest administration who is indifference of the harm in the forest. Similarly, Government’s inappropriate settlement policy has also result into many number of trees being cut down. Shifting cultivation also known as cyclic farming also result into falling of many trees.
Here, I brought just an instance which should be given concerned by both the students of this institute along with the college administration who is dumb to fight for the justice of the trees in the college premises.

Thank you for a report about the problem which occurred on your campus. I feel sad about many trees over the world is now cutting down because of the reasons like developing or lack of land, etc. It is too sad! Even though trees do occupy a little piece of land, but that tree can give us a lot of things like fresh air or cooling effect. That advantage is good for our environmental problems. I think it would be really hard work, but I suggest you claim with tree cutting and reasoning with those advantages. It may not work, but we should try it!

Thank you for your report about your university. From the pictures, I presume that they are pruning. However, it is a serious problem if they cut the entire trees and remove them for the beauty of landscape. Pruning, itself, is a beneficial activity for trees and humans to. It prevents trees from being rotten. Anyhow, I wish your university coexists with the nature in harmony.
