Technology is one of the major components that have cone as a result to human advancement and development. However, as every other aspect connected to humans, it has the power to affect the environment either positively or negatively. With the use of technology, mankind has been able to improve on his own living conditions, either at the disadvantage of the environment, or to help the environment. Technology can serve as a main reason why humans cause destruction on the environment, but if properly used could help a lot to control or help the environmental. |

Indeed, technology is a double-edge sword that we would have to use it wisely.
It's really important what values we follow and which way we will lead the technological development. We have to always analyze the potential merits and problems that it might cause before we adopt it.

Certainly technology has both positive and negative impacts to the environment. Fortunate thing is that recently, there is growing focus on the technologies that can help preserving the environment. I hope that many technologies with great potential are developed in the near future and we can stop further pollution!
