Free report: Why we dont speak on NOISE POLLUTION?

by Zefania Mkingi | 23-02-2020 15:55 recommendations 0

The world have the concentration on the other pollutions like air pollution 🏭, water pollution, land pollution, but have definitely forget about noise pollution especially in africa, i passed through my country's environmental policy but unfortunately it speak less on noise pollution,  is it because its effect are less seen at large?,  is it because people love music 🎷?,  is it because most of our jobs are source of noise? Or we dont know the effects of noise pollution to human health, as we know the effect of air pollution.

You find people are allowed to give announcements and advertisement on the road through out a day , making noises,  playing musics.  Why then?

I sometimes dont understand, in the environmental offices in municipal, dont they see the problem of noise pollution.

From march 1, me an my class we are going to do a field research, during that research, i will make sure when i meet responsible people on environmental issues, i make my another research on noise pollution, i will publish the result here.

Any body with another guess on why we dont speak on noise pollution?  Share with me on comments i will work on them during my research,
You can also email me on your experience about the issue

    Hey Zefania,

First of all I want to appreciate you for raising such an interesting issue in the world level platform. Noise pollution and it's relentless affects like hearing loss, hyper- tension, memory loss, sleep disturbance and other similar problems cannot be neglected. But we have, instead of striving to strictly limit it, got somehow adjusted ourselves with noise pollution, unknowingly though.

    Thanks for your report!

    Hello Zefania
I do hope everything is well!!

In my point of view, noise pollution doesn't seem to have a direct impact on human health and environment as compared to other pollution.. Noise pollution is just like a slow poison , shows it's consequences after a long time of ts impact.. But, air , soil and other pollution starts to show their negative impacts on a short time and hence people take them under consideration fast and take immediate actions. On the contrary, noise pollution as it has a slow impact is not much talked and taken into consideration immediately.. But, noise pollution has a very bad impact on our environment and human health so must be brought into the sight of each and every individuals and concerned authorities...

    Thank you for your report!!

    Green cheers
    Regards

    Hey Zefania!
    It's Lisa.

I can see where you got your idea from we definitely don't speak of noise pollution as much as we do for the other sorts of pollution. I think it's probably because noise pollution doesn't create results that are sustained or continued. In other words, there are no remnants for this kind of pollution. For other types, water, air, soil every other pollution remains effects and damages that are not one-time but that continue on with a certain amount of time. This makes the problems be stacked and accumulated to create destruction.

But I am sure that noise pollution is as serious as well, it's just probably a matter of comparative urgency and seriousness.

    Very interesting thoughts:)
Let's all start thinking about it!

    Hello Zefania

This is an interesting research and I look forward to read your another report about the research. In my opinion, one of the reasons why people don't talk about the noise pollution is because they are so familiar with it that it doesn't bother them as much. But I'm sure there are some mental stresses that are naturally caused by noise pollution and therefore this issue should be treated seriously.
