Among of things am heartly interested with is environment, i have been a good fun on ict related issues, unfortunately there are few Technology concerning the environment that can be used by common people, most of env. Tech are used by municipal, or the government. What is the problem?, why do people innovate less on environmental technology? I have been asking my self for the almost two weeks since i received an email about this month theme, and i had several guesses, which i think can be really are reasons why we have less technology concerning the environment. First, Most of environmental issues have no good return in term of money, most of people in our today's world are prioritizing the benefit in term of money than anything else. This made many scientist or innovators concentrate on making technologies concerning other beneficial sector, such as money transferring, governmental issues. This is because these innovators doesnt really know the value of environment to their life, if they could know ooh my god we could have as many technologies as possible. Second guess was lack of interest on technology of the environmentalists. This is not just the guess but the reality from my fellow environmentalist, i asked almost four of colleagues on the issues related to technology last week, they end up saying "you know what, we environmentalists dont have to entartain issues of technology, because they have always destroy our environments" also i read my fellow ambassadors' report on this topic, i see their perception on technology. Sure its absolutely true ,that most of technologies have negatives impact to our environment, but that doesnt guarantee us to hate technology such way. Through technology we can make the world great again. For example there is one device like drone which fire bullets to the ground with trees seed this can plant almost 10000 tree per day, which is difficult for a man to do, when this device came in use will repair our green, so can we say the technology is bad to the environment. Im speaking this not because am interested on issues related to technology the same time issues related to environment (so it makes me look like worshiping God and satan at the same time 😂😂😂😂) , no am speaking this because i want my fellow environmentalist to look a century ahead, we cant run from the technology, we cant ignore the truth that despite of hating the technology ,we cant stop it from growing, there is a quote says "if you can't stop them outside, stop them by being in them", so what we have to do if we cant stop technology "HEY ENVIRONMENTALISTS JOIN THE TECHNOLOGY" If we join the technology we will actually find a way to motivate environmental friendly innovation guys. You can too be the innovators, give out your idea 💡 of environment to the technologists, join studies of technology, make something about environment on technology, will have a positive impact to the nature. My self Mking zefania , i joined online studies on ALLISON ONLINE COURSES, am studying computer software programming and applications, from September last year. I need to make a software that will help the municipal to get ontime notice on wastes in dodoma city, i will first start at my university. Remember am studing bachelor of arts in geography and environmental studies, it less concern the technology but i need the technology and environment to make the mother nature beauty again. It's Lisa.
I think you are making a very persuasive argument here. Yes, we cannot run away from technology nor can we stop developing it! If that's not the case, let us not just sit here to point the wrongs and misakes of technology but instead try to add some environmental values into those technological industries! I really think your idea can be really inspiring to many of the technicians here in Tunza and also other ambassadors who study in different fields to think and ponder upon what they can do to add environmental literacies into technology.
Great report dear and really had me into thinking some of the future plans, not just the status quo:)

This is an insightful report. I agree with the reasons you suggested why there isn't much interest on environmental technologies. In my opinion, people should believe in the infinite potential of technology and think about some wise process that will benefit both the environmental and the human society. I hope there are many great innovations and we can finally achieve sustainable development!
