Marine relates to things found in the sea. When life is added to it, then it would probably mean life found in the sea. This life includes plants, animals and organisms. This is marine life or ocean life. In as much as we have life above sea, so do we have life in the sea. Life in the sea helps humanity in various ways. Life in the sea serves as food, dead decaying organisms in the sea produce fossils, the various species of organisms in the sea serve as tourists’ attraction which supports the economy of various countries and continents. Some of this organisms in the sea are used for concoctions and used for medicinal purposes.
Human activities however are posing a great danger to these organisms through pollution which is known as marine pollution. Some of these activities include:
1. Over fishing 2. Oil spillage 3. Disposal of human excreta into the sea 4. Disposal of rubbish (plastics) into the sea 5. Mining (Minerals such as gold, diamond…etc) 6. Deep sea mining 7. Land run off 8. Ship pollution These are just to mention a few. It would therefore be very necessary for us to conserve marine life because they help us very much. We could do this through: 1. Educate Yourself About Oceans and Marine Life 2. Travel the Ocean Responsibly 3. Influence Change in Your Community 4. Support Organizations Working to Protect the Ocean 5. Be an Ocean-Friendly Pet Owner 6. Don't Purchase Items That Exploit Marine Life 7. Help Take Care of the Beach 8. Use Fewer Plastic Products 9. Make Safe, Sustainable Seafood Choices 10. Mind Your Carbon Footprint and Reduce Energy Consumption.
We could better educate our communities, friends, mates and partners through the various forum we organize as Tunza Eco Generation Ambassadors. It is our actions that will help save us all.

You report includes the importance of marine environment, situation that it is being polluted, and some informative solutions to the problem. In face, the pollution in the ocean is already in serious level. Reading variety of ambassadors' reports, there seems to be endless sea animals suffering from the pollution caused by humans. I agree with you that it's important to tell to people near us about the significance of the issue. It would help a lot bringing attention to the marine environment.

I think you have suggested a great way to start writing going back to the real simple beginning and looking at the definitions of the things.
Humans indeed both consciously and unconsciously are polluting marine life and it is hence our duty and responsibility to rehabilitate the ecosystem underwater. Education is definitely a way to do that and contribution to Tunza community could be one way.
