Our Water Day celebration

by | 09-04-2012 17:29 recommendations 0

¢¯span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"">         World Water Day 22nd March 2012 was the last working day of 2011-2012 academic year for our school and reopen on 9th April 2012.  After finishing my examination I have gone to my native place and have celebrated World Water Day and the Earth Hour with my village friends.  First I have drawn many pictures and prepare banner and then I and my friends took them to each and every house and show how a little drops of water is important for us. I have given short speech as like last year about ?Precious Water? among the public.  I have done a plumbing work to repair the tap leakage in neighboring houses by changing washer, valves etc.  I have learnt from my uncle, grandpa and daddy how to replace all those things; if there is any leakage in our house they themselves do all works like this.  There are no internet facilities in my village so I cannot upload my articles then and there immediately.  I have return from my village on Wednesday 4th 2012 morning only.  I am waiting for the events photos which are taken by my friend, but he is studying in village for him this month only the annual examinations to be held; He is busy for his examinations.  So I upload the events photos afterwards.

I like and appreciate your initiative "I have done a plumbing work to repair the tap leakage in neighboring houses by changing washer, valves etc. " This is remarkable!
    and
I want to learn it too though we have less leaking taps in Dubai and each time we have the liberty of just calling the building maintenance people to fix it BUT SURELY IT WILL BE NICE TO LEARN FOR LIFE!!!
