Do you know what CSA is? CSA or Climate Smart Agriculture is an agricultural system which focuses on increasing sustainable agriculture productivity to enhance achievement of national food security and development goals by steadying the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Thus, it becomes indispensable to implement this practice to redeem agriculture?s sustainability.
Agroforestry is one of the Climate Smart Agriculture?s patterns. In Indonesia, farmers know it by the name of ?Wanatani?, which combines two different realms: agriculture and forest. This is why CSA system denotes a strategy to adapt and mitigate climate change by providing a smart compilation of agricultural crops planted under the stand of woody species. |

Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) is amazing concept. We must encourage this idea & take this up on the next level of implementation at major agricultural economies.

CSA is extremely beneficial to tackle food security and climate change. I wish this method should be implemented in many dimensions of the agroforestry, so that the natural environment and rate of productivity of ecosystems increase to feed the ever growing population.

Thanks for introducing the catch-phrase CSA.
Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) involving new types of crops or new techniques for enriching soil and food output , could be the only way to feed our planet as climate change makes it impossible for us to farm the way we do now.
