After becoming the ambassador by Tunza Eco Generation , I was planning to do simple but innovative ways  to protect our nature. At the same time earth day is ahead of us on 22nd. April 2012 and that  trigger this new idea.

When I was planning for this year¿s Earth Day celebration more effectively,  I got the call from my friend Miss Sanjali about her birth day on last 10th. April 2012. After getting the responsibility as an  Ambassador, I am always thinking about plant, plantation of more plants, avoid use of plastic  etc. So I discussed with my team members of JCGC to start a system about offering plants or seeds in place of synthetic gifts. The majority Synthetic gifts are not environment  friendly and also costly.

Started thinking about advantage of the existing system of offering synthetic gift and my new proposal. Capture my thought in the below few lines. Discussed with our Principal Sister Hilda D¿souza and class teacher Mrs. Sanghamitra Hore. My below poem explained my thought and both of them had appreciated on my nature friendly concept.

Let us gift, plant or seed

Let us offer plant or seed,

On birthday or any occasion as gift.

Getting regular oxygen, fruits and many,

Extending real span of life with honey.

Let us offer plant or seed,

In place of any artificial gift,

To stop pollution at every stage,

Since  their production to garbage.

Let us offer plant or seed,

It¿s easy to get, when we need.

But, this is costlier than gold,

Can be seen even when old.

Let us offer plant or seed.

This essential  idea to lead.

Besides gifting our near and dear,

Let us save nature with creature.

Implementation of the Idea :-

1.  Development of Poster :- For early implementation of the idea,  we had made the following poster and circulated in our School and different societies in our Ghorabandha area to spread the massage and to change  the years long  mind set.

4. Implemented the idea by My school and city

The offering of plant has become a regular system at our school as birth day gift. In our locality in 30 nos. birthday parties the gifting of plant was reported till 20th. April 2012.

So, this is my request to all the nature lovers of the world to implement the above system of  offering plant in place of synthetic gift and do comment on it accordingly.
