Opening Ceremony of Clean Up the World 2014 with the General Director Dubai Municipality- By Simran Vedvyas

by Simran Vedvyas | 10-11-2014 02:16 recommendations 0

For the Second year in a row, I had the opportunity to participate at the Opening Ceremony of Clean Up the World 2014, a Dubai Municipality Initiative supported by UNEP, Clean Up the World and several other companies and organisations in Dubai.

I participated as Sustainability Ambassador recognised by Dubai Municipality. It was a moment of delight for me and indeed an honour to showcase the work that our group SynergY has been doing to contribute in making Dubai green and more sustainable at the opening ceremony of the Clean Up the World 2014.  I was humbled by the interest shown by Engineer Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General, Dubai Municipality, UAE as he stopped at my booth and interestingly asked questions, glancing through the many pictures highlighting our work and group activities.

There will be hundreds of clean Up activities and events that will be done by schools, hotels, corporate companies, universities, organisations and groups during the next few days,  SynergY Welcomes registrations through the Facebook page for the event on 14th November 2014 in Deira Dubai -

This is the 21st Year in Action and as I can remember I have been participating since last 8 years, which truly is half of my life years.
