Neem Tree

by | 24-11-2014 22:30 recommendations 0

In India the neem tree is consider as the sacred tree., because of its valuable uses. It also has the medicinal value. The seed oil and soap made from this tree could be used effectively for various skin diseases like ulcers, ring worms and also cure rheumatism.

The bark couldbe used as tincture.  It was beneficial against malaria as well.  Fresh tender twigs are used to brush and clean teeth.  Neem leaves can protect pulses, rice from the pest.   Neem flower and young leaves are used to prepare food which is taken as a prevention for pox.

It cleans the air and emits more oxygen to the surroundings, so it is very cool under the neem tree during day times. It do not need much caring and grow easily in our area.

My grandpa collects more seeds of neem and tamarind and we spread the seeds on both sides of the bypass road where there is no trees now.  We cover 50km both sides in two areas on two different days and I shared it in my articles.  Now they are growm 20 inches now.

That's interesting, Guru Vishnu Mathivanan. But is there any geographical problems when the tree is expanded and planted in other climate areas in the world? Thank you for sharing!
