Without realizing it, we are actually a lot of use of plastic bottles in everyday life. Whenever thirsty in the middle of the road and water supplies brought from home exhausted, we always take the initiative to buy mineral water in the mini market. In fact, this will increase the consumption of plastic bottles and also will not stop the production of plastic bottles. In fact, plastic bottles have a great impact for of environmental. In addition to an adverse impact on the environment, the use of plastic bottles are also able to bring adverse effects to health. That makes Me and friends, some time ago we were conducting "Tumblr Campaign". This activity is done in ?Rumbel Sahabat Pulau Semarang?. ?Rumbel Sahabat Pulau Semarang? is a place of learning for children who are less able to where here there are some volunteers from various universities. We chose the home study companions grace coincidence because there is an area of tidal flood subscription. In addition, we felt the need for education from an early age about the dangers of the use of plastic beverage bottles. Our activities are open to sing along, then I and huda (my friend) provide material about the dangers of using plastic water bottle with the help of media images and video. The children were very excited to hear an explanation from us. Most of them just know if it's a plastic bottle drinks that often they buy it dangerous not only for the environment but also health. In addition to an explanation of the dangers of plastic bottles, we also provide education about safe plastic code and safe to use.

A very interesting , meaningful and thoughtful campaign, Ulfiana. Plastics are serious environmental menace. Plastic pollution is the biggest environmental threat which needs action from all stakeholders at all levels. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Very thoughtful Ulfiana. Good job of educating the children who are the future torch bearers. My mother always gives me water in a stainless steel flask to carry.

Yeah big change must start with small step :) I appreciate your campaign of sharing knowledge to lovely kids. Safe plastic code, its adverse effects on health as well as environment surely help them be aware and action oriented. Simply say no to Plastic bags/bottles :)

Sharing knowledge is a noble thought Ulfi. The children seems to enjoy the same.
Tumblers are much better option as they can be reused.
Plastic bottles must be recycled and not thrown.
A discarded plastic bottle on the road is the worst sight I can imagine.

hi all, thank you for the positive response. I hope ' tumbler campaign ' this can be done in a sustainable manner again because I am sad, there are some children who use plastic bottles repeatedly. it is dangerous for them
