The gruelling heat condition prevailing in Jharkhand State of India over past six weeks becomes increasingly troublesome not only for human being but for birds and animal species as well. With mercury touching 45.6 Degrees Celsius, this Monday, 11 th. June ?12 become the hottest day in the past six years.
More than 100 peoples of Jharkhand had lost their lives in past three weeks. 12 nos. birds and 5 nos. squirrels are also found in dead condition different parts of our Jamshedpur steel city.
In this circumstances the idea of Shibajyoti of JCGC about ?A little effort on Earth day to save birds in hot ? , for offering of water in pot for bird really helpful, the report link is nza.eco-generation.org/ambassadorReportView.jsp?viewID=1042.
All these sad feedback are upsetting our mind. We discussed in our weekly meeting and communicated to our different branches to keep water for birds and animals.
Requested to local news papers to highlight the matter in their publication and request to all their readers take action accordingly. Need suggestion from our friends of Tunza Eco Generation to save lives here.
