Do you know? Wastes are unusable materials or by products which will be disposed or processed further to gain beneficial materials. Apparently, most of socieies don?t know on how to reduce, reuse, and recycle the wastes so that the pollution occurs and produces harmful GHGs.

A way to tackle the problem is by taking education as main action for managing wastes. IGAF held a programme known as ?CREATIVE DUSTBIN? on November 23, 2014 in Nyencle Village, Cilangkap, Depok. The project was directly handled by IGAF LC IPB and students of DIPLOMA IPB. There were approximately 50 students getting together to be educated on how to manage wastes disposal by using dustbin without throwing out everywhere. The education was conducted for children with aim to train children on how managing wastes, and to increase awareness of children about waste management. After educating (giving courses) to children, students were pushed to playing environmental games from TUNZA Eco-generation?s VCDs.
