Earth Hour 2015 Sharjah

Major events took place in various emirates of UAE. One of them was in Sharjah where i led the the team of volunteers and helped to carry out the event successfully. The event started off with a couple of band performances which gathered the attention of the crowd. Then a magic show took place followed by a various activities. During this while, there were a whole lot of activities taking place in the area like spin the wheel contest, glass jar painting etc. At 8:30 most of the lights were closed and we started lighting up candles all around the park. A huge no. of people took part and all were extremely happy to take part in the event. Date - 28th March Event Timing - 6-10pm Location - Al Majaz Waterfront, Sharjah
