Nepal Earthquake, Help us in anyway possible!!

by | 27-04-2015 19:50 recommendations 0

It was around 11:56 am, on date April 25, 2015 and I was on my home with my brother we both had final exam ahead so were preparing for exams suddenly bed started moving and we both run towards road in free space everyone came out of their houses it last for few minutes my neighbors? started crying the fear the panic still are moving in my eyes then aftershocks continued to ripple.  My place is quite safe so there was no destruction. The powerful earthquake of 7.8 Richter scale hits Nepal making its epicenter in area between the Capital city Kathmandu and Pokhara. Tremors was felt along all the region including India, China and Bangladesh, with loss of about 3725 people  as per data and more expected with 8,000 people being injured as rescuers are digging the rubbles.

Nepali Information Minister Minendra Rijal said there had been "massive damage" at the epicentre, from where little information is emerging.

A number of Nepalese monuments have been reduced to rubbles. Several monuments and temples which were enlisted in world?s heritage sites have been destroyed which were tourist?s main attraction, with many feared trapped in its ruins. The government has declares the state of emergency in many affected areas. In my hometown, everyone has been noticed to stay in open places.

Things are really bad in the district, Gorkha the location of earthquake?s epicenter, especially in Remote Mountain and hilly villages, there are people who are not getting food and shelter. Hundreds of thousand has been sheltering outside in open places in basic tents away from their buildings, water is becoming scare, and risks of disease are prominent. Mt.Everest camps have been swept away by avalanche with climbers missing and rescue team approaching there.

Many countries are providing support to Nepal, international rescue teams medical teams are approaching and approached teams are helping at their level best. Similarly, many for-profit local organizations like NTC, Ncell, Chaudhary group and others are providing all the support for free. Even international for-profit institutions like viber and facebook have lent their support in the way they could by options like viber out and earthquake safety check. It?s good to see this unity, this sense of assuming responsibilities among every citizen, people are working hard, and youths are working hard. But still risks of disease are prominent, rescue teams are less in number, due to road blockage people are not getting treatments, aircrafts are less in number.
We are providing safety to disabled ones, motivating people for blood donation as blood scarcity can be next problem, as the situation seems to be under-control our friends are planning to raise fund locally. With hope that no aftershocks will be felt, with heavy hearts, with the belief that we will rebuild the monuments the infrastructures, we are moving ahead.
So, do come forward for help and donation every small efforts matter.  Let us all do something to help out.

I donated through my school. Our school took up the initiative to gather useful articles including but definitely not limited to t-shirts,shirts, shoes and socks. These items will be sent to the Nepal Consulate which will subsequently send it to Nepal. I am sure all our UAE ambassadors will do their best to provide all possible aid from their side.
May Almighty shower his grace on all the sufferers of this ghastly predicament and may the deceased rest in peace:(
