hope

Found above quoted picture in the facebook, which reads like:-
There are cracks in the chest,
but patience is still here..
The heart is wounded,
but hope is still alive..
We shall rise again..
We shall bloom again..  :) :)

Yes,the massive earthquake left us wounded and shattered made us helpless. Two weeks past the quake still all of us are not settled,we are still in need and it is going to take alot of time before we are rebuilded. The wounds are still fresh even those small aftershocks reminds them all over again, but we shall rise again more stronger then ever,we haven't lost our hopes.

Not to let those hopes in the people of the affected areas die we are constantly doing whatever we can. So we are gathering funds and supplies and making them provided to the needy ones. After three visits to Gorkha our team went to Nuwakot, Taruka VDC 1, and Chautara on 8th May 2015.
Chautara village has 34 households among them almost all of the houses are damaged. There was one human casualty, few livestock's were dead and few were wounded. The scenario would be worse if the quake had occurred at night. Most of them are safe because they were in their fields at the time of quake.
On that they we hired a mini-truck, loaded our supplies and left Pokhara at about 6:30 A.M. NST and reached the VDC at about 12:30 P.M. NST.The village could be reached only after crossing a suspension bridge and some hours hiking uphill. At first we transported the supplies across the river with the involvement of our team mates and some of the villagers. It took us about 1 hour. Then we hired a tripper and reached the village at about 3:30 P.M. There was an earthen road up to the village but there were no regular transportation facility. When we reached there, people were waiting for us. They were happy to have us there as a first helping hands.

As we didn?t have large sum of money we couldn?t arrange tents but we made sure that the supplies shall help them to sustain them for minimum twenty days to a month. So our major supply included 34 sacks of rice (30 kg each),10 sacks of beaten rice,34 kg lentils,34 liter cooking oil and basic supplies included sanitary and first aid materials along with fast foods like noodles, biscuits, dalmoths etc.We distributed those supplies and went through the village. The scenario was heartbreaking as only few houses were standing still other were just rubbles. Hope the village will be reconstructed sooner the possible.
And with a little of happiness with those smiles we were able to see, a heavy heart that observed the destruction and a strong determination that we have still more to do at about we hiked downhill for about an hour reached the highway at about 6:00 P.M. NST and reached Pokhara at about 11:30 P.M. NST.
P.S  A sincere thanks goes to Jennifer Lewis mam, Director, Tropical Dolphin Research Foundation without whom it wouldn?t have been possible for us to do this much all in our own and special thanks to my teammates brothers and sisters, and all those who supported Jennifer mam and eco-generation family where I get encouragement and inspiration for every good deeds done.

Also, after our team returned from Gorkha we had a short documentry made by Jennifer mam.You can find it here at

Alina, I am so, so proud of you. It's my shame that I couldn't send the goods due to the suspension of the postal service in Nepal. I am really proud that you didn't just sit and watch. You did stand up for the good work and you showed hope to the victims of the recent earthquakes. Please remember that your safety must come first always, with no exception. I hope to send help at my soonest. Thank you for sharing the vivid status of the epicenter.

    @Anthony
We are doing this because we couldnt just stay here seeing those heartbreaking news, seeing those agony and despair in the people of our country. We are the ones seeking to be conservationist, studying nature conservation and engaged in activities of conservation, while our heart cries in pain seeing the threats to wildlife wont it feel bad in such conditions of fellow human being?
The next day after the massive quake on the 25th April, our five brothers went Gorkha which was badly affected on their own emptying their pockets, risking their life. There were frequent landslides and rockfall in the area they went. While they were there we started collecting funds at our college we were able to raise only about 295 US$.But still we managed to deliver some supplies on 28th April.Again on 1st May our team went there with the supplies of 580 US $ which were obtained due to constant effort of Jennifer Lewis mam who lives in US .This trip to Nuwakot was our 4th one but not the last. We are still working on more possibile ways to help.
My dear friend we arent any organization,we are the individuals working together that voluntarily wanted to do something for the people in need.We just collect fund and supplies from different sources possible and make them available to those in need in badly affected areas. We only know that feeling which we get from the smiles and ray of hope people get when we are there for them. It's an amazing feeling that lighten ups our heart, fills us with joy.Yes,we do this work for our benefits in that regard that those innocent smiles in the kids, positive vibes in the old ones, sharing the pain, adding a little life in the lives of those in need gives us immense pleasure. And this enthusiasm wont die how harsh the situation maybe.Only reason we are posting our works in social media is to obtain more help from people around the world and it is never for recognition or gratitude.
Thank you for your prayers and goig through the report Anthony. :)

One positive thing that has happened in my country at present is the youth power that is leading and has united in a way that happened never before. And it's also a bitter fact that we wont be able to work all alone, without support of the people around the globe. The support we have got is overwhelming. We are thankful to all of them.
I am glad to see even those little kids sharing our pain and doing the best possible they could do through Student's of Earth .Thank you so much for your such an effort.
Thank you for going through. :)

It takes a big heart to look beyond the need and pleasures of self to the afflictions of another. I tell you, dont despair even if you dont get the desired recognition or gratitude for your action because you are building up treasures for yourself somewhere beyond. May God continue to reward your good works and finaly my heart goes out to the people of Nepal.

You will surely bounce back stronger.
