A step towards a more beautiful Earth |

When I heard about the inauguration of the new divisional headquarters of Environment and Forest Department at Patna by the honourable Chief Minister and honourable minister of E&F Dept., Govt. of Bihar,India, I couldn't stop myself from walking up to the spot. It's a very beautiful building with trees and plants all around. This headquarter is placed in a big sprawling building with a deft architectural touch to the whole structure. Initially I had thought that a very big Mall with modern facilities was coming up. It was a very pleasant surprise to see such a beautiful building as a headquarter for E&F Dept.
Bihar is a small state in East India with the fastest-growing population of any state (India's population being over 1.2 billion). The per capita income of Bihar is among the lowest. In this small state, initiatives to protect our environment are coming up which really is a big thing. The Government of Bihar has been taking new initiatives to motivate school-children for protecting and enriching our environment. Many awareness campaigns have been carried out by the Bihar Government, Hariyali Mission being one important part of it. The seriousness of govt. towards environment protection has increased over time which is a good news. It makes me really happy to see these small and big initiatives by the govt. and other concerned citizens,well, me being one of them! |

Congratulations for the St. Bihar! :) E&F Dept made the real right decision. I hope Bihar to be one of the most environmentally friendly states in India.

Glad to know that Bihar govt is doing so much to educate & inspire residents about environment protection. I hope these initiatives bring good results and the residents co-operate with govt .
