I was participating in International Student Week in Ilmenau (ISWI) 2015 from 29 May to 7 June in Germany. ISWI is the largest student conference in Germany with more than 300 participants from more than 80 different countries. During one week, we were doing many activities such as lecture, discussion, cultural event and so on.
On the discussion, we were separated to several topics and I was belonging to environmental working group. In this working group, I met other students from different countries such as from Armenia, Indonesia, Georgia, Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Russia, Macedonia, Mauritius, Kenya, Taiwan, Ukraine, Thailand, and so on. Not only from different countries, we also had different backgrounds such as engineering, marine science, political science, environmental science, agriculture, health science and so on. Even though we were different, we had same vision, to make earth greener and keep our environment.
On the working group, two group leaders were guiding us to discuss, and solve environmental problems. At first, we figured out environmental problems that we are facing on. We were categorising problems into 5 pillars, water, waste, energy, food, and ecology. Each country has different problems and it made us know environmental condition in other parts of earth. I just knew that Georgia has problem with unstoppable cutting trees and air pollution, and illegal animal hunting also happened in Mauritius. Some other countries also have similar problems.
Based on that problem, we formulated 5 levels to be the real friend of nature. Each level has some lists to do for better environment. The higher the level the more difficult to do, but still, all lists are possible to do. So, here is the list. If not us, so who? If not now, so when? Let start to make better environment from now!

Thanks for enlisting the eco-friendly tips into 5 lists starting from simpler ones in level 1 to more conscious ones in level 5 . This can be used in our campaigns to check the level of environmentalism in our attendees with scope of improvement.
We must ensure to follow them regularly to reduce our carbon footprint.
Very informative report , Mukhlish.

All 5 lists are unique & are truly eco-friendly. We may follow & tick the ones that we follow regularly.
