Technology has enabled people to enjoy more convenient life. We can travel in the world and talk with people who live on the opposite side of planet. In addition to human, environment also could receive benefit from technology. The illegal logging is monitored by innovative system lively.

Gemalto which is the global digital security company with non-profit organization, Rainforest Connection decided to use new technology that monitor illegal land clearing in real time. This solution is expected to check the situation right away unlike previous methods such as radio monitoring and satellite surveillance.

NASA satellite data has used in detecting forest fire in Indonesia, which has generated the serious air pollution in Malaysia and Singapore. However, at 15th Meeting of the Sub-Regional Ministerial Steering Committee, it was declared that early warning systems are necessary to take an action in advance.

The resent solution is able to detect early when illegal logging activities are discovered. Before happening the further deforestation, signal will be sent and notify the officials who can handle situations.

Surprisingly, up to 80% of logging in the Amazon and Indonesia are considered as illegal activity and both countries emit 51%of carbon emissions from forest loss. A wireless tracking device called Invisible Tracck, which is decided to use by Gemalto and Cargo Tracck is installed in near trees to capture illegal loggings. According to BBC, since monitoring began using this device, the deforestation is recorded at lowest level.
