I Build Solar Panel |
---|
Solar panel one of the eco-friendly sources of energy was built by student of Keta Senior High Technical School during their stay for a research into how locally salt is mined. This activity was sponsored by Lightyear Foundation. Lightyear Foundation is a charity devoted to changing the public perception of science through the promotion of scientific knowledge and understanding, innovation and encouraging people to be curious about the world around them. We work alongside students, teachers and communities to share ideas of how local, cheap and easily accessible materials can be used to bring the high school science curriculum to life through hands-on activities – dispelling the myth that practical science can only be done in a lab. This project was hosted by me during their stay for the research, I taught then basic electronics and Eco-friendly sources of energy which are not harmful to the mother earth in the electronics lab of the school. The project was really fun and educational. The student were very excited about this initiative and proud to build an Eco-friendly energy source by tapping sun shines and it is free gift by nature. |

So happy to note that students (hosted by you ) made solar panel.I am sure after this accomplishment and seeing their own creation , they would have realised that practical science NEED NOT be done in a lab. Good job by you in guiding them and providing them all support. Thanks for sharing , Noah.
