Nepal is renowned for ?One-horned Rhino?, Kenya for ?The big five? this big five includes the lion, the largest of Africa?s big cats elephant, the world?s largest land mammal buffalo, one of the most feared animals rhinoceros (white and black), both of which are endangered and leopard, a very elusive animal, hunting at night and spending its days resting in trees. The Republic of Madagascar is rightly famous among wildlife aficionados worldwide. Lemurs are their best known draw (from the red-bellied variety to the ring-tailed), but there's also a bevy of weird and wonderful birds and reptiles.

According to the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, wildlife includes any animal, bees, butterfly, crustacean, fish and moth and aquatic or land vegetation, which form part of any habitat. Wildlife refers to living organisms (flora and fauna) in their natural habitats.
Wildlife conservation is the practice of protecting endangered plant and animal species and their habitats. Among the goals of wildlife conservation are to ensure that nature will be around for future generations to enjoy and to recognize the importance of wildlife and wilderness lands to humans.

It is necessary to conserve wildlife because it results in undesirable consequences for the whole ecosystem, wildlife is an essential component of various food chains, food webs, biogeochemical cycles and energy flow through various tropic levels. Wildlife is a symbol of national pride and cultural heritage. It preserves vitality and health of environment and provides stability to various ecosystems. Conservation preserves the ecological diversity and our life support systems. It also helps in the preservation of the genetic diversity of plants and animals for better growth of species and breeding.

The destruction of forests and wildlife is not just a biological issue. The biological loss is strongly correlated with the loss of cultural diversity.

Therefore, increased understanding about the world?s current wildlife situation and an increased emphasis on education will give future generations an opportunity to experience nature to its fullest extent its conservation is must as they are our nation?s pride.

Our environment promotes incredible biodiversity, and it??s this biodiversity that contributes directly to the sustainability of all life on the planet. All life on the planet is interdependent. Every organism has a role that it plays in the bigger picture of life.It would not be an overstatement that without wildlife &#8211 human life would not exist. Thanks for highlighting the significance of wild life.
