Each Saturday Plantation Day |

I had mentioned in my previous report about the plantation program initiated by Lions District 325 B2 with leadership of Governor Lion D.K Dhungana. This report is in continuation of my previous report ont the theme "Every Saturday Plantation Day". This project is initiated by Zone 34 under leadership of Lion Niraj Shrestha as Zone Chair Person. Under this theme Lions Club of Bhandara Chitwan has coordinated Plantation Program this saturday. This plantation has been focused with slogan "GO GREEN". Lion Niraj Shrestha has been playing the efficacious role since previous days in this program. According to him "Each Saturday Plantation Day" will be in action for the whole year. I salute to the initiation he made to maintain greenery in the environment and this project is really worthy. Our many ambassadors have already reported about the importance of trees and how many tress should we plant each person to nurture our mother earth. In this regard, I find the Lions Personality of Zone 34 really great for their appreciative actions. It is really a honor to us eco warrior to see such role model eco lovers who have been caring the earth by making plantation each saturday and I really salute Lion Niraj Shrestha for he mentioned this project will run through out the year. We can imagine how much greenery they will flourish with in a year by making plantation program each saturday for the whole year. According to Lion Niraj Shrestha, the lions of Zone 34 will make plantation of at least 1000 trees this year. We are ready to welcome 1000 new tress. He mentioned today was the 10th plantation program they made under this project. I along with all eco warriors show a deep gratitude towards him and all Lions for their noble acts towards our Mother Earth. |

This is an amazing initiative by LIONS club, zone 34. Planting each saturday for whole year will certainly have impact on green coverage and clean air.

WOW! I am so happy to know that Lions of zone 34 will plant at least 1000 trees. With current alarming level of global warming , we need many more such projects in many more regions. Thanks for sharing, Bikal.
