With the major rains and floods hitting the Philippines, the government set up Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards). With Project NOAH, we are able to get information about rain predictions so we can prepare for it. So far since it was launched in July this year, NOAH is accurate up to 90%. It's good because Filipinos can tell in which part of the country rain will fall and probably know for how long it will rain. It can even tell how much rain will fall so that levels can be predicted and people living near river banks or lakeshores can evacuate.
