Sweden's traditional policy

by | 29-11-2015 04:49 recommendations 0

Hello Tunza family! It?s been a while since I?ve signed in, November has been a pretty busy month for me. Where, here I am back with Sweden?s environmental conservation through traditional knowledge. When Swedish people are asked what the primary factor is for the happiness, they don?t say money, fame, power, or love They say its ?beautiful nature.? Sweden is widely known as the number one eco-friendly country with the best environmental technology and policies. These environmental conservation efforts were made through Sweden?s traditional policy, ?Allemannsrett.? (Allemansrätten)

Sweden Allemannsrett, or ?all men?s rights?, is a public access right or a freedom for everyone to be allowed in nature. Practiced since the middle age, Allemannsretts has been a part of Sweden?s cultural heritage allowing people to camp at uncultivated area, pick up fruits from nature, and spend time with family in their beautiful nature. With the responsibility to be nice to the environment and the animals, anyone enjoy this wonderful privilege without any few or limits from fences. By Living under the tradition of Allemannsrett, the citizens adopt environmental conservation as part of their life.

For instance, adopting this mindset, King Carl XVI Gustaf drives to his palace with his electric car. He changed his ethanol car with electric car, claiming that the Earth has reached its critical point and that he wanted to do something to participate on use of future energy sources. The Queen and the King pay notable attention on biogas, Sweden?s traditional fuel, and recycles themselves.

It?s not hard to understand why Sweden puts so much attention to environmental conservation. Sweden has impressive cultural heritage- its nature- that motivates its people to protect their valuable gift. Many of the Swedish people grow up with beautiful nature and enjoy them throughout their life. The eco-friendly mindset and ability to continue environmental conservation has become part of everyday life, including the education and businesses. This it is persuasive how Sweden has leading conservative ideas for environment due to its love for its environment.
