I would also like to inform you about some great initiatives by your fellow delegates in different parts of the country:

1. Gaurav Jha has established Alexis Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development at Shantiniketan. The centre has over 100 active members and top scientists of international repute on its Advisory Board including Dr. M S Swaminathan (Father of Green Revolution in India).

2. Bharat R. Itagi has established Alexis Centre for Study and Research in Law at Dharwad. The centre will formally start its operations from 29th September, 2012 with a day-long workshop being conducted by inspirational speakers.

3. Maihursa Boro has done extremely commendable work in Lets Do It India Campaign by establishing chapters in North East Region of the country.

4. Gursimran Kaur conducted FIRE - a series of Cultural cum Charity Events for specially - abled students.

5. Jaswanth Bhargav is doing excellent work in Vijayawada through IGNITE. He is leading the You Donate, We Adopt campaign for Orphanages.

6. Simran Vedvyas is leading Plant a Tree Campaign globally.

I believe that all of us have some inherent goodness in us, we just need a platform for doing our bit. I hope you will be surely be inspired by these six young change-makers.
