After 3 days of continuous workshops and plenaries in COP11, on 15th October we planned for a day out to Golkonda Fort Hyderabad, which was built long back in the 13th century . On entering the fort we came to know that it was a place full of greenery and from the top of the fort the whole Hyderabad was visible. After roaming around the fort i noticed that the well inside the fort was polluted with plastic bottles and other waste materials. Having witnessed such a condition and was unable to do anything at that point we moved forward towards the garden of Golkonda fort their we saw almost 500 children young kids from SMP Public school . Out of the blue an idea of sharing the knowledge which we have gained in the past few days with the young kids came to our mind.
Abhishek , Utsav, Rahul, Balraj and me first got the permission from the teachers accompanying the kids for interaction with them. After getting the permission we all started interacting to the kids about environment and reason why we should conserve it we specifically mentioned about the polluted well and why we should reduce the use of plastic .
We spent almost 30 minutes with the kids explaining the importance of Environment as well as about Tunza Ecogeneration and its activities, the event ended with a pledge taken by all the students as well as the teachers. The pledge was administered to them by the Sayen members as well as the Tunza Ecogenertion ambassadors explaining them the importance of Saving the environment and the concept of sustainable development to the students. At the end of the day we were really satisfied with our efforts of spreading the message of saving environment among the young kids.

We are promoting GYEF with CEE(you may know it).
So they and you can send the same message to the same schools.
That's the why I asked what schools you have in your mind.
And it is soooooooooooo supportive of you to think so.
Thank you :-)

Wow it is so nice of you to think about helping us with GYEF!
To participate in GYEF, a student must submit an essay through our Application form page.
Do you have any specific school list in your mind? :-)
